Native Engagement and Unsettling Settler Projects
Below are projects through which some Pitzer College students, faculty and staff have or are:
a) Working and learning with American Indian Nations and individuals, and/or
b) Identifying and "unsettling" American settler colonialism.
Click on circles or titles for more info. Note: Such projects are dynamic and may change.
The Central Role of Students
Students are core collaborators in all stages of these projects, from brainstorming to development and implementation and including community relationships and critical evaluation. As they help develop these projects, students make change and are changed through the process. They certainly change me!
